Not a newcomer to the diverse club scene Mixmaster Mixin Mike displays the talent one must have to rock any crowd. DJing since 2001, his style of mixing turntables and mash-ups impressed many, earning him respect and first club residency at The Green Door (Crete, IL) in 2003. This opened doors to many avenues and he singed on with Night Life Celebrity Ent. in 2004 and has been making crowds move ever since. Radio has always been a vision for Mixin Mike. In March 2005 an online radio station heard of his work and quickly became the first of three online stations to start playing his mixes. In 2006 opportunity struck when a major market three-radio station in Chicago contacted him beginning his journey into radio. With this great success under his belt, Mixin Mike decided to takeover other markets and take the show on the road capturing the attention of Promoters and club owners across the country, rocking’ clubs in Phoenix AZ., Cleveland OH. and Miami FL. to name a few. Learning the business side of radio in 2007 Mixin Mike went back to school to study radio at Illinois Center for Broadcasting (ICB). Concurring the Chicago scene he branched out to rock party's across Illinois which led him to Champaign IL. He started playing weekly at a mega club on the campus of The University of Illinois for capacity crowds. In 2008 the number one station for hip-hop and R&B in central IL. heard of the crowds and of the unique mixing ability Mixin Mike was bringing and offered him a position on their mix team. Today after making key contacts in the music industry, DJ Mixin Mike is pursuing his love for music and writing.
